‘Indian Dish in Every Plate Worldwide’: Big Vision for AI-Driven Agriculture

‘Indian Dish in Every Plate Worldwide’: Big Vision for AI-Driven Agriculture It would certainly be a pleasure for anyone to be involved in a dialogue on a visionary topic like AI enabled advanced agriculture at the Krishi Summit and Kisan Mela at SKUAST Kashmir, and it is for me too, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha. I believe that this event will provide a common platform to all the allied sectors related to agriculture and agriculture based industries so that there can be a meaningful exchange of the views of experts, agricultural experts, experiences of farmers and innovations. How to bring new techniques and modern agricultural methods to farming, this resolution should be realized, LG said. I believe that this summit focused on AI enabled advanced agriculture will not only build the capacity of progressive farmer brothers and sisters of Jammu and Kashmir, but will also open new doors of opportunities for innovators and entrepreneurs involved in agricultural research. For this, I would also like to heartily congratulate Jammu Agricultural University, LG said. Where are we today? This has largely been the result of the hard work of agricultural scientists and farmers of our country in the last few years that today we have reached the second position in the world in overall agricultural production. I want to congratulate such scientists and all the brothers and sisters of the country. How can the contribution of agriculture and allied sectors to the GDP of Jammu and Kashmir be doubled in five years? I believe that if we implement it properly, our contribution will increase by more than two-and-a-half times, LG stated his mind. This year’s budget of the Government of India was inspired by three duties. The third objective in this was to increase the income of farmers, increase productivity, promote entrepreneurship and bring about unprecedented changes in agriculture and allied sectors. In the budget of the Government of India, Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman also announced Bharat Vistar Virtually Integrated System of Processed Agricultural Resources. Through this, multi-interpretative AI tools will be integrated with other important programs and the use of AI will definitely help in improving agricultural productivity, reducing farmers’ risks and providing the right advice to farmers at the right time. I believe that amidst all these challenges, agriculture and related sectors are at a decisive turning point today, LG spoke. This growing crisis can only be mitigated by implementing timely, concrete reforms, balanced policies, modern technology and inclusive innovation. And it is only the agricultural sector that can ensure both national development and human welfare. It can also guarantee India’s progress despite global turmoil, stated the Lieutenant Governor With this request, one last thing, the Prime Minister has said this many times on many occasions that there must be an Indian dish in every plate in the world. The day we achieve this target, with the help of agricultural scientists, our agriculture and allied sector will definitely contribute the most to a developed India, LG said.
