An Inter-School Quiz Competition was organised by the Indian Army at Tangmarg Zone in Baramulla district in Jammu & Kashmir. A student, Mehraj Ahmad Bhat said, what the Indian Army is doing is worth appreciation. They are providing talent opportunities for children. Schools from different villages participated in the event. A girl student Mahinoor said, the small events shape the career and future of every child and are important from that point of view. Students from class 6th to 8th standard took part in the competition. Nowsheen another girl students thinks these events are important as they encourage determination among children. Students were asked questions on various subjects.
Major S Mallikarjuna of 163 Field Regiment of Indian Army said, in the future also we will be organising such events because we got a positive response from the students. The winners and runners-ups were felicitated. The competition proved to be a confidence booster for the participants.
