Indian Army in Gurez plays Samaritan to refugee children

Parveena Begum, an ASHA Worker is at a refugee village in Gurez Valley distributing sweets among ladies and families. She is thankful to the Indian Army and the Sarpanch for providing support to women here. Encouraging the women present, she said that women are going places and we all must also think of doing something for us. The men appreciated the move by the Indian Army to distribute sweets and clothes as EIDI to the children.

Nisar Ahmed, Sarpanch of Gurez is grateful to the Indian Army. A tailoring centre for ladies has been set up. There is no electricity in the village and alternative arrangement has been provided by the Army, he said.
