Baramulla, April 4, 2025: The Indian Army organised a medical camp at Madiya Government Primary School in Kamalkote, Baramulla, aimed at providing essential healthcare services to the residents of Madiya and Batar villages. The initiative, reflecting the Army’s commitment to community welfare, offered basic medical check-ups and free medicines, benefiting more than 73 citizens from the area.
The camp was set up to address the healthcare needs of these remote villages, where access to medical facilities can be limited. A team of Army medical personnel conducted thorough check-ups, focusing on common ailments, and distributed necessary medications to those in need. The effort was particularly significant for the elderly and children, who often face challenges in reaching distant hospitals.
