Akhnoor, March 17,2026- In a proactive initiative to educate the youth about safety and security, the Indian Army recently held an awareness session at a local school in Akhnoor. The session aimed to help students understand real threats facing the region and empower them to make informed choices.
During the program, army representatives discussed the dangers of terrorism and explained how hostile elements attempt to destabilize peace in Jammu & Kashmir. They also highlighted a growing concern: the use of drones to smuggle drugs into the region, underlining the importance of vigilance in everyday life.
Students were encouraged to stay alert, report suspicious activities, and avoid falling prey to harmful influences.
