Kupwara, November 10,2025 – In the remote valleys of Machhal in North Kashmir, where access to healthcare remains a major challenge, the Indian Army has stepped in with a compassionate initiative to provide medical assistance and wellness support to local residents.
As part of its ongoing outreach programme, the Army’s medical camp in Machhal brought together a team of 11 specialist doctors offering free consultations, health check-ups, and women’s wellness sessions. The camp also introduced Infrared therapy for pain management, benefiting elderly and underprivileged patients in the area.
Locals expressed gratitude to the Indian Army for reaching out to some of the most inaccessible villages in Kupwara district, ensuring that healthcare, dignity, and humanity reach every corner of the valley.
Officials said such initiatives reflect the Army’s continued commitment to community welfare, healthcare support, and nation-building in Jammu and Kashmir.
