Indian Army and quality healthcare hospital host free Medical Camp in Taratpura, Kupwara

Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir – September 4, 2025 – In a commendable effort to enhance healthcare accessibility in remote border areas, the Indian Army, in collaboration with Quality Healthcare Hospital, Kupwara, organized a comprehensive Free Medical Camp at Taratpura village today. The event, part of the Army’s ongoing commitment to community welfare, saw more than 600 locals receiving free consultations, diagnostic services, and essential medicines, fostering stronger ties between the military and the local populace.The camp, held under the aegis of the Chinar Corps, aimed to address the healthcare challenges faced by residents in the rugged terrains of Kupwara district, a region often marked by limited medical infrastructure. A dedicated team of experienced doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff from the Indian Army’s medical units and Quality Healthcare Hospital provided specialized consultations across various fields, including general medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, and orthopedics.
