Kashmir, April 24, 2025 – In a powerful address from Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a stern warning to the perpetrators and backers of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which he attributed to Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. The attack, which claimed innocent lives and shook the nation, has sparked widespread condemnation and unified resolve across India.
Speaking to a global audience, PM Modi declared, “India will identify, trace, and punish every terrorist and their backers. We will pursue them to the ends of the Earth. India’s spirit will never be broken by terrorism.” He emphasised that terrorism would not go unpunished, assuring that justice would be delivered with unprecedented severity. “The punishment will be significant and stringent, which these terrorists would have never even thought about,” he added, signaling India’s unwavering commitment to combating terrorism.
The Pahalgam terror attack, described as an assault on “India’s soul,” targeted innocent civilians, leaving the nation in sorrow. PM Modi expressed solidarity with the victims’ families, stating, “India stands in solidarity with the victims’ families.” He also extended gratitude to international leaders and communities for their support, noting, “Everyone who believes in humanity is with us. I thank the people of various countries and their leaders who have stood with us.”
In response to the attack, the Prime Minister has directed Home Minister Amit Shah to visit the attack site, ensuring swift action and support for those affected. PM Modi’s address underscored national unity, stating, “The entire nation is one in this resolve.” He vowed that India would leave no stone unturned in pursuing justice, reinforcing the country’s zero-tolerance policy toward terrorism. The government has promised comprehensive assistance to the victims and is actively working to identify and neutralise those responsible.
