How the 4th Heli India Summit 2022 opens endless possibilities for J&K

Heli India Summit 2022 took place in Jammu & Kashmir and was held on October 10, 2022. The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha said that Jammu & Kashmir is deeply attached to the Heli India theme. The possibilities are endless here and the helicopter services are also necessary for this region, he said. The Lt Governor was grateful to the Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, for holding the fourth Heli India Summit in J&K. He assured the service providers of Heli seva that there will be traffic the whole year round. The LG said that there are many offbeat destinations in J&K, 75 in numbers which have been selected by the administration and many have been developed. He said the J&K administration will offer full support for any facilities needed by the helicopter service providers. He requested the industry icons to think about growing their business in the beautiful territory of Jammu & Kashmir. He said, make this business opportunity into a reality and partner with the administration. Today, Jammu & Kashmir is moving towards a new peak of development. In this journey of development, he asked for active participation from everyone. This will boost the new generation with positivity and inspire them with determination, said the LG. Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister of Civil Aviation addressing the Heli India 2022 summit said that it was indeed an honour and pleasure to have the 2022 Heli India Summit in Srinagar. It is the idyllic location across the world known as the ‘Venice of the East’ , the ‘Shangrila of the World’ surrounded by pristine lakes and idyllic surroundings and truly encompasses the thoughts and emotions that if there is a heaven on earth then the heaven is in the form of Jammu & Kashmir on the earth. The Union Minister of Civil Aviation said that in Jammu, a new civil enclave is being constructed at a cost of Rs 861 crore so that Jammu is able to expand. The existing terminal at Srinagar of 20,000 sq m will be increased three times to 63,000 sqm. This expansion will be at a cost of Rs 1,500 crore. This is the resolution of our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Jammu & Kashmir is the crown of India, said the civil aviation minister. We will need to create an environment of progress and development and the airfield will be the main area for the dream to come true.
