How Nano Urea liquid will reduce the cost of cultivation of J&K farmers

The Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) organised a Farmers Conference on Promotion of IFFCO Nano Urea which was held on September 9, 2022.The farmers conference was a joint effort of the Department of Agriculture and IFFCO. Zamindar is the backbone of India, said A B Jabar Parray, a villager in Srinagar. Eighty percent of the population is of zamindars .Whatever steps are taken for their welfare will be good. Nano format technology is currently being introduced and promoted in agriculture and horticulture crops so that the farmers’ cost of cultivation is reduced, said Iqbal Choudhary, Director Agriculture Kashmir. Distribution of sprayer pumps was done for collective use of farmers. They were made to understand how one bottle of Nano Urea is equivalent to one bag of Nano Urea. Bashir Ahmad, a villager in Srinagar says this is a good initiative by the government. Nano Urea is the world’s first technology for farmers. It has nano particles and the best part is, farmers will be benefitted. Magray Mansoor Ahmad, villager, says farmers are the country’s backbone. Now with this technology they can have some relief and will stay happy and the economy will increase. Previously, farmers used to carry one kg of urea bags weighing around 50kg to the fields. Today, instead of the 50kg bag they can use a 500ml nano urea liquid which will do the job. U S Awasthi, Managing Director IFFCO said, people ask us how a 500cc bottle can be as effective as a 50kg bag. He said, basically they increased the surface area. They started sprinkling on leaves instead of putting it in the ground. Arun Kumar Mehta, Chief Secretary J&K said in the next 25 years of Amrit Kaal, Jammu and Kashmir’s agriculture will set an example not only for India but for the whole world. The Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha said at the farmers conference that the government is committed and all kinds of support will be given to the farmers from the PM for their unified progress.
