How J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha freed Kashmir from the corrupt, mortgaged power system

Those people who have been responsible for the unrest here in Kashmir, they say that the system is not right. It is up to the people of Kashmir to decide whether they want to see those days again. On the behest of the neighbouring country, should the markets be closed, schools, colleges and universities be shut? I want to request you, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Shri Manoj Sinha asked the citizens of Kashmir. Today, where we stand, the security forces personnel are working hard. And I want to say with great confidence that terrorism is counting its last breaths, said the Lieutenant Governor. A proper plan has been made by them and the forces are working accordingly to finish off the whole ecosystem of terrorism. Disturbing incidents are the work of our neighbouring country and those people who think by doing some such incidents, in the minds of the people they can be made to believe that the earlier system was correct. This is not going to last, LG said. The path we have chosen is the right path. We will try till the end to leave no room for corruption. All the duties should be based on transparency. We will definitely ensure that jobs cannot be sold in the market. No one can get a job on somebody’s recommendation. The one who has the ability will get the job, LG said. Some people mortgaged the power here. They still want that system to run. I want to say emphatically and with conviction that it is no longer possible, roared LG Manoj Sinha. We will not allow that system to be implemented in Jammu and Kashmir under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and till Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha is there, LG said.
