Kulgam, February 23,2026-The Indian Army organised a free medical camp at Naye Basti, Qaimoh in Kulgam district under its flagship Operation Sadbhavana initiative, reaffirming its commitment to the welfare of local communities.
Working in close coordination with the Health Department, the Army’s medical team examined nearly 350 patients during the camp. Essential medicines were distributed free of cost, providing much-needed healthcare support to residents of the area.
The initiative aimed to ensure accessible healthcare services, especially for people in remote and underserved localities. Doctors and paramedical staff conducted health check-ups, offered consultations, and raised awareness about preventive healthcare practices.
The event stands as a true example of selfless service to the people of Kashmir — where care and compassion go hand in hand with dedication and commitment. Through Operation Sadbhavana, the Indian Army continues to strengthen trust and outreach by supporting the well-being of local communities.
