Gulmarg, December 24,2025- Fresh snowfall in Gulmarg has transformed the famous hill resort into a winter wonderland, bringing immense joy to locals and renewed hope to those dependent on tourism. The season’s first major snow spell has triggered a surge in tourist arrivals, offering a much-needed boost to Kashmir’s tourism-driven economy.
Hotel owners in Gulmarg report a sharp rise in bookings, with many properties nearing full occupancy as visitors flock to experience snow-covered landscapes, skiing slopes, and cable car rides. Adventure activity providers, including ATV bike operators and sledge pullers, are also witnessing brisk business after weeks of lull.
