Gulmarg Gondola Sees 5000 Tourists Daily; Security Tightened After Pahalgam Attack, Say Officials In the wake of the tragic Pahalgam incident, authorities in Gulmarg have reassured tourists of heightened security measures around one of Kashmir’s top attractions—the Gulmarg Gondola. With 3,000 to 5,000 visitors daily, officials confirmed full deployment of Army and CRPF, regular security assessments, and local support to ensure the safety and comfort of all tourists. One of the main tourist attractions in Gulmarg is Gondola. We provide tourists security. On a daily basis around 3000-5000 tourist footfall is there for Gondola rides in Gulmarg, Jammu & Kashmir, said an official. There is a substantial deployment of Army and CRPF around Gondola. Because of the heightened security concerns we have taken a full assessment. Whenever there is a security concern we will take full care of those issues, said an official. After the Pahalgam incident, whatever skillsets we need to give to our personnel we took a review assessment. It was more or less satisfactory. All the forces are in attention. And we have the support of the local authorities too, the officail said in Gulmarg.
