Baramulla, February 13, 2026 – DC Baramulla DC Baramulla graced the graduation ceremony of the 4th 14-day Skiing & Snowboarding Course (2025–26) at the Indian Institute of Skiing & Mountaineering , Gulmarg IISM Gulmarg.
The event celebrated the successful completion of rigorous training by 101 participants from across India, who honed their skills in both skiing and snowboarding under expert guidance. The course, spread over two weeks, focused on technical proficiency, safety protocols, and snow sport techniques, aiming to promote winter sports in the region.
During the ceremony, DC Baramulla appreciated the efforts of trainers and participants, highlighting Gulmarg’s potential as a premier winter sports destination and encouraging youth to pursue adventure sports professionally.
The 4th edition of the course reinforces IISM Gulmarg’s commitment to fostering skiing and snowboarding talent in India, while contributing to the local tourism and sports ecosystem in Jammu & Kashmir.
