Poonch,June 27,2026- A grand Kalash Yatra was organised in Poonch to mark the auspicious commencement of the Shiv Maha Puran Katha, drawing hundreds of devotees in a vibrant display of faith and devotion.
The religious procession began with devotees carrying sacred Kalash (holy pots) while chanting devotional hymns and bhajans. Men, women, and children participated enthusiastically, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere as the yatra passed through various parts of the town.
The procession culminated at the revered Buddha Amarnath Ji Temple in Rajpura Mandi, where priests conducted special prayers and religious rituals to seek divine blessings. Devotees prayed for peace, prosperity, communal harmony, and the well-being of society, marking the beginning of the Shiv Maha Puran Katha with deep reverence.
Organizers said the annual religious event aims to strengthen spiritual values, preserve the region’s rich cultural heritage, and promote unity among people from all walks of life.
