I believe that all the newly recruited police personnel will give new strength to the Jammu Kashmir police force and will help in increasing the efficiency of all the departments of the police. I extend my heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all the newly recruited police personnel. When the brave women and police personnel of Jammu Kashmir police leave their homes, they know that they are going to stand in danger between themselves and the safety of the people. But they also know that the public is safe to some extent because they continue to perform their duties. If today the people of Jammu and Kashmir are moving ahead on the path of progress without any fear, then behind it is the commitment and courage, vigilance and resolve of every police personnel towards nation building. I want to tell all the new recruits that you are becoming a part of a police force whose valour and pride are both unprecedented. The Jammu and Kashmir Police Force is recognised across the country for its excellence and professionalism. Jammu Kashmir Police is not just the name of a force but it is a symbol of trust. Whenever there is talk of Rule of Law and Counter Terrorism in the country, Jammu Kashmir Police is seen as a standard. The Jammu and Kashmir Police Force is a warning to those who consider themselves above the law. Because this force has always found terrorists and criminals and brought them to justice, LG stated. The Jammu and Kashmir Police Force has made the supreme sacrifice to protect this land. The batch we respect, the traditions we uphold, and the principles we believe in, all have been forged by the fire of sacrifice of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Force. The memorials commemorate the sacrifices made by those who gave their all for the protection of Mother India, by sacrificing their lives, they have protected the lives of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. I also want to pay my respects to all those martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir today. Every post, every campaign, every policy, every process of Jammu and Kashmir Force is made from the experience of those who wore this uniform before you. Now their legacy is in your hands. You will have to fulfill your responsibilities with full dedication after training. Today, the nature of internal security has changed. The battlefield for the police is no longer just geographical. Today, the world’s most dangerous criminals and terrorists do not move with weapons; they move with code, with data, and operate across encrypted networks and in the financial system, where dishonesty becomes blatant. Cybercrime, financial fraud, narco-terrorism, narrative warfare, digital fraud – these are the threats you have to contend with, the Lieutenant Governor added.
