Kashmir, April 20,2026- Fresh snowfall has covered the upper reaches of Rajouri and Poonch, transforming the mountainous landscape into a picturesque white expanse.
The higher altitude areas along the Pir Panjal range witnessed light to moderate snowfall, while plains experienced a dip in temperature accompanied by chilly winds. The sudden change in weather has brought relief from rising temperatures but also led to cold conditions across the region.
Officials have advised residents and travelers to exercise caution, especially on hilly routes, as roads in upper areas may become slippery due to snow accumulation. However, no major disruptions have been reported so far.
