Free prosthetic & assistive Aid Distribution Camp held in Bon Dailgam, Anantnag

Anantnag, June 15,2026-Around 300 specially-abled individuals benefited from a free prosthetic and assistive aid distribution camp held at Bon Dailgam in the district of Anantnag. The initiative was organized under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, aiming to support persons with disabilities by improving mobility, independence, and quality of life.

The camp provided a range of essential assistive devices, including prosthetic limbs, walking aids, wheelchairs, hearing aids, and other mobility-support equipment. Officials and facilitators present at the event emphasized the government’s continued commitment to inclusive development and welfare-oriented outreach programs for specially-abled citizens.

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the initiative, highlighting how such support can significantly improve their daily lives and help them participate more actively in education, employment, and community activities. Medical experts and technical staff were also present to ensure proper fitting and guidance for the distributed devices.
