Foreign countries interfere in India’s matters as they do not get a befitting answer: S Jaishankar

Foreign countries interfere in India’s internal matters, what is your opinion on it? asked a reporter to the Minister of External Affairs of India, S Jaishankar. How will you tackle those who say it is India Occupied Jammu and Kashmir? The External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar agreed that foreign media, politics and the outside power tries to interfere in India’s matters only because we have allowed them to do so for so many years. When you give a befitting answer then you will notice it will reduce. The Jammu and Kashmir issue is our own creation. We let Article 370 live for so many years. This was our weakness. When any big country is weak, the world takes full advantage of it, said the minister. When the Parliament took this decision on August 5, 2019, the window through which the world interfered was closed. This should have happened before. But no one could think like that or give commitment like that. We notice the ideology of nationalism in the younger generation. They have the power to deal with separatist currents or those who support terrorism. We believe that the young generation can compete with them. The G-20 was not a small affair in Srinagar. It was like a test for us. This is a commitment of the BJP government to bring Jammu and Kashmir in the national mainstream, the Minister of External Affairs said.
