Footpaths getting constructed to provide door to door facility for Kulgam residents

The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha had instructed for door to door facility for the common citizens. Raees Rhaman, JE R&B Division said, in respect of the orders, door to door development work is going on. Interlocking footpaths are being laid so that commuters can walk hassle-free. Nearly 20 percent of the footpath work is complete. In one or two months, the footpath laying project will be completed. Firoz Rashid, a local resident of Kulgam, said that it is nice that tiles are being laid. Earlier we used to face a lot of difficulties. Walking used to be difficult but now colourful footpaths are being created and it is looking like a smart city. Sajid Ahmad, another local resident of Kulgam said the beautification going on should have taken place in the last 70 years. Still in the last two years, a new era of growth has begun. The Honourable Lieutenant Governor is known as the ‘Vikas Purush’. A new beginning has been made in terms of progress. Not only in Kulgam, we can see development work going on in every other district of Jammu & Kashmir. It is a happy step taken by the LG administration. The youth also want improvement in every village and district so that the society gets better.
