Kashmir, November 22,2025- Kashmir’s rising strength sports star Fardeem Hussain has been selected to lead Team India at the upcoming World Powerlifting Championship, marking a proud moment for Jammu & Kashmir’s sports community. Hussain’s outstanding performances at national powerlifting events and his consistent record in the junior and senior categories earned him the top spot in the national squad.
Officials from the powerlifting federation said Hussain’s selection reflects the growing talent pool emerging from Kashmir, where young athletes are increasingly excelling in strength and endurance sports.
