Udhampur, September 22,2025- As part of the ongoing Sewa Parv celebrations, the Sheep Husbandry Department Udhampur organised an exposure visit under the CSS-ATMA scheme, aimed at equipping farmers with the latest knowledge in sheep and goat rearing.
During the visit, participating farmers were introduced to modern scientific practices in sheep husbandry and goat farming, enhancing their skills and promoting sustainable livestock management. Experts guided the farmers on improved breeding, healthcare, and fodder management techniques to ensure better productivity and profitability.
The initiative under the CSS-ATMA scheme reflects the department’s commitment to strengthening the livestock sector in Udhampur, while empowering farmers through capacity building and awareness during Sewa Parv 2025.
