The Amarnath Yatra is a revered spiritual journey that leads devotees to the sacred Amarnath Cave. A pilgrim said, he has been visiting the holy site of Baba Amarnath regularly since 2005. Unfortunately, due to some family problems, he wasn’t able to make the pilgrimage in recent years. However, whenever he visits Baba Amarnath, he ensures to also visit Vaishno Devi Maa on his way back Reflecting on the past, he recalled that the facilities were quite basic, and the common people used to earn a living by assisting pilgrims. The roads were less developed but still navigable. However, in recent years, he has observed significant improvements and development in the infrastructure and facilities. Last year, in particular, he was very pleased with the changes. Another pilgrim said, ‘The langar services here have always been commendable, but they have now reached an exceptional level. He faced no issues with food and drink. Another pilgrim expressed, ‘The security arrangements are very robust. There is security at every corner, ensuring the safety of all pilgrims. The accommodation is also excellent, and the environment here is truly wonderful.’ The first pilgrim added, ‘The registration system is very efficient, and they did not face any problems at any stage of our journey. The entire system is well-organised, and the staff is very helpful. He urged everyone to visit Baba Amarnath and experience the divine blessings. Additionally, he appealed to all visitors to maintain cleanliness and not to litter, preserving the sanctity of this holy place.’ This enhanced infrastructure and service quality make the Amarnath Yatra not only a spiritual journey but also a pleasant and secure experience for all pilgrims.
