Jammu, January 19,2026-Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday said that education is the most powerful tool for transforming society, as it expands the horizon of opportunities and opens doors to a brighter and more inclusive future.
Addressing a gathering at an educational event, the Lieutenant Governor emphasised that quality education not only equips students with knowledge and skills but also shapes responsible citizens capable of contributing meaningfully to nation-building. He said education plays a decisive role in empowering youth, reducing inequalities, and fostering innovation.
“Education broadens thinking, strengthens character, and prepares young minds to face future challenges with confidence,” the Lieutenant Governor said, urging students to pursue learning with dedication, discipline, and curiosity.
LG Manoj Sinha highlighted the government’s focus on strengthening the education ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir through improved infrastructure, digital learning, skill development, and innovation-driven initiatives. He noted that efforts are being made to align education with emerging technologies and the evolving needs of the job market.
The Lieutenant Governor also called upon teachers to act as mentors and role models, guiding students not just academically but also ethically. He stressed the importance of value-based education in building a progressive and harmonious society.
Reiterating the administration’s commitment to youth development, LG Sinha said that investments in education are investments in the future of Jammu and Kashmir. He encouraged students to dream big, work hard, and use education as a means to uplift themselves and their communities.
