Dy CM visits Shalimar hospital, assures efforts to uncover causes of Rajouri tragedy

JAMMU, JANUARY 17 – Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chowdhary visited Government Shalimar Hospital to assess the condition of the victims of the ongoing tragedy in Rajouri. He was accompanied by MLA Budhal Javaid Choudhary and senior officials from the health department.

During his visit, the Deputy Chief Minister interacted with the hospital administration and medical staff, urging them to provide the best possible care to the victims. He reassured them that the government is fully committed to identifying the causes behind these mysterious deaths in Rajouri.

Speaking to the media, Chowdhary emphasised that the government has already initiated a comprehensive research effort to determine the root cause of the tragedy. “We are undertaking an in-depth investigation into this unfortunate incident. Along with the health department, the police have also been instructed to conduct a thorough inquiry. If any foul play is found, appropriate action will be taken against those responsible,” he stated.

Chowdhary reiterated the government’s dedication to resolving the crisis swiftly and ensuring justice for the affected families.
