JAMMU, NOVEMBER 28: Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Kumar Choudhary, today conducted surprise inspections at the office of the Chief Engineer, R&B Jammu, and the Government Hospital in Gandhinagar, to assess the delivery of public services.
During his visit, the Deputy Chief Minister interacted with the staff and emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring fast, efficient, and hassle-free public service delivery. He urged officials to ensure that citizens face no inconvenience while accessing government facilities and services.
At Gandhi Nagar Hospital, Choudhary directed the hospital administration to ensure that patients receive quality healthcare services and that the benefits of health-related policies are provided without delay or complications.
Later in the day, the Deputy Chief Minister met several deputations at the Civil Secretariat. A delegation of Secretariat employees raised concerns about service-related issues, while a group of PM package aspirants sought the de-reservation of category posts. Deputations from Ramban, Rajouri, Doda, and Kathua districts also presented issues related to the development of their respective areas.
Choudhary assured all the deputations that their concerns would be addressed in a timely and effective manner, and necessary actions would be taken for their resolution.
