JAMMU, FEBRUARY 01: Deputy Chief Minister Shri Surinder Choudhary visited the Government Polytechnic College Jammu to assess the functioning and infrastructure of the institution.
Accompanied by senior faculty members, the Deputy Chief Minister conducted an extensive tour of the college premises, inspecting classrooms, laboratories, and other student facilities. During his visit, he took the opportunity to interact with faculty members and students, gaining insights into the academic environment and the overall functioning of the institution.
Addressing the faculty, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to equipping youth with essential skills through a comprehensive program aimed at training them in various industrial trades. He stated, “This initiative will not only make our youth technically skilled but will also empower them with entrepreneurial abilities, enabling them to establish their own income-generating ventures. By fostering job creators, we are also contributing to the creation of more employment opportunities for others.”
Shri Surinder Choudhary further directed the college administration to ensure that all necessary facilities and resources are made available to students, highlighting that the youth play a pivotal role in shaping the nation’s future. He stressed the importance of providing students with a conducive environment for learning, ensuring that they face no challenges in accessing quality education and related services.
