JAMMU, JANUARY 23: Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, conducted a thorough inspection of the ongoing Smart City projects along Residency Road, Jammu. He was accompanied by Municipal Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Devansh Yadav, and other senior officials.
During the inspection, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasised the need for strict quality control and the swift execution of the ongoing works. He urged the officers to accelerate the completion of the city’s beautification projects, ensuring that residents benefit from these developmental initiatives as soon as possible.
“The executing agencies have already been instructed to carry out the work according to the approved plans, and there must be no compromise on quality,” the Deputy Chief Minister said. “Any deviations or substandard work will invite strict action.”
Choudhary further highlighted the importance of aligning developmental plans with local needs and aspirations, stressing that future projects should reflect the demands and convenience of the people living in the area.
