Doda, October 18,2025: In a big push towards empowerment of youth and economic independence, District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) Doda, headed by Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh (IAS), sanctioned 326 cases for self-employment under the Mission YUVA programme.
The scheme is focused on entrepreneurship development, innovation, and sustainable livelihood opportunities among youth in the district. One of the flagship programs of the Jammu and Kashmir Government, Mission YUVA, is dedicated to empowering the youth to become job creators rather than job seekers by financially supporting them, mentoring them, and capacity building.
DC Harvinder Singh welcomed the stakeholders’ efforts and reiterated the resolve of the administration toward the development of youth entrepreneurship, skill development, and inclusive economic growth in Doda district.
Sanction of 326 cases is another milestone in the vision of the government to make Jammu and Kashmir an entrepreneurship and innovation hub under Mission YUVA.
