Srinagar , December 13,2025: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today attended the Valedictory Ceremony of the SKIMS Annual Festival Week, held at the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS). The event marked the successful conclusion of a week-long celebration showcasing academic excellence, medical innovation, and cultural activities.
During the ceremony, the Lieutenant Governor felicitated doctors, nursing staff, and employees of SKIMS for their outstanding service and commitment to healthcare. He lauded the medical fraternity for their unwavering dedication, compassion, and personal sacrifice in caring for patients, often under challenging circumstances.
LG Manoj Sinha emphasised the vital role played by healthcare professionals in strengthening the nation’s health system and contributing to nation-building. He said that doctors and medical staff are the backbone of society, whose selfless service ensures the well-being of millions.
The Lieutenant Governor also appreciated SKIMS for its continued efforts in providing quality healthcare, medical education, and research, making it one of the premier medical institutions in the country.
