Srinagar, :Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, on Thursday inspected the automatic water level recorder at Bone & Joint Hospital Barzulla to monitor river and drainage conditions amid recent rainfall in Srinagar.
During the visit, he also reviewed the delivery of critical healthcare services to patients at the hospital, ensuring that medical facilities are functioning smoothly and efficiently in case of emergencies.
Speaking to the media, Div Com Anshul Garg briefed about the current water levels at Sangam and Ram Munshi Bagh, noting that water levels were stable and that weather is expected to improve during the later part of the day. He also highlighted the contingency plans put in place by the administration to tackle any unforeseen exigencies arising from heavy rainfall or flooding.
Officials confirmed that monitoring of water levels and healthcare preparedness remain a priority, with teams on standby to ensure public safety and uninterrupted health services across Kashmir division.
