RAMBAN, September 12, 2025 – The District Level Committee on Change of Land Use convened a crucial meeting on September 11, 2025, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan to evaluate the status of Change of Land Use (CLU) applications in the district. Held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, the meeting focused on ensuring strict adherence to the Jammu and Kashmir Land Revenue Act, promoting transparency, and expediting the issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to enhance public service delivery.The committee, comprising key officials such as Additional Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Shokat Hayat Mattoo, General Manager District Industries Centre Ravinder Anand, Assistant Commissioner Development Ashfaq Khanji, Divisional Forest Officers Bishan Dass and Abhinav Ramotra, along with representatives from agriculture, horticulture, pollution control, and public works departments, thoroughly reviewed 15 CLU applications. The scrutiny process emphasized compliance with existing regulations, meticulous document verification, and field inspections to ensure lawful and transparent land use conversions.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan underscored the importance of fast-track NOC processing to streamline operations and improve efficiency in handling CLU applications.
