Srinagar, February 13,2026- The Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR Jammu and Kashmir) recently hosted a “Cine Connect” workshop aimed at promoting film culture and nurturing talent in the region. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen creative arts and cinema development in Jammu and Kashmir.
The workshop brought together budding filmmakers, scriptwriters, cinematographers, and other industry professionals for interactive sessions, panel discussions, and hands-on training. Experts shared insights on filmmaking techniques, digital media trends, storytelling, and regional cinema promotion.

Officials emphasized that “Cine Connect” seeks to create a platform for aspiring talent to explore opportunities in filmmaking while preserving and promoting local stories, culture, and heritage through cinema.
