Srinagar, 23 September 2025: Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force , GP Singh, on Tuesday, flagged off the third edition of the Yashasvini High-Altitude CRPF Bike Expedition 2025 from Lal Chowk, Srinagar, marking a significant event in the CRPF’s outreach and adventure initiatives.
The expedition, designed to test endurance and promote camaraderie among CRPF personnel, will cover challenging high-altitude routes across Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Officials said the event also aims to showcase the spirit, resilience, and fitness of the force, while encouraging adventure sports and discipline among CRPF personnel.
Participants, including officers and jawans, will navigate difficult terrains, mountain passes, and remote stretches, reflecting the force’s operational readiness in diverse conditions. The event is also expected to engage local communities along the route, raising awareness about the role of paramilitary forces in maintaining security and public service.
DG GP Singh, while addressing the participants, lauded their commitment and emphasized the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, and national service. He also highlighted CRPF’s initiatives to encourage youth engagement, adventure sports, and skill development in the region.
The Yashasvini High-Altitude Bike Expedition has emerged as a flagship program of the CRPF, combining adventure, awareness, and operational preparedness, while also showcasing the breathtaking landscapes of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh.
