Reasi, November 3,2025: Amid chants of devotion and celebration, the 4th Vaishno Devi Parikarma Yatra was ceremoniously flagged off from Reasi by MLA Kuldeep Raj Dubey, marking yet another milestone in the region’s efforts to promote religious tourism and cultural harmony in Jammu and Kashmir.
Devotees from different parts of the Union Territory and across India participated in the Yatra, which holds deep spiritual significance as it celebrates faith, unity, and collective devotion to Mata Vaishno Devi. The event was organised with support from local administration and religious committees, ensuring smooth coordination, security, and facilities for pilgrims throughout the route.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kuldeep Raj Dubey commended the enthusiasm of the devotees and lauded the Yatra’s growing role in strengthening pilgrimage tourism and local livelihoods in the Reasi district. He reaffirmed his commitment to further improve infrastructure, amenities, and safety measures for pilgrims, emphasising that religious events like the Vaishno Devi Parikarma Yatra not only nurture faith but also contribute to the region’s economic and social development.
“The Vaishno Devi Parikarma Yatra is a sacred journey that binds us through devotion and cultural pride. It promotes peace, brotherhood, and prosperity for the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” Dubey said.
Local residents, shopkeepers, and volunteers along the Yatra route extended warm hospitality to the pilgrims, showcasing the community’s deep-rooted spiritual values and sense of service. The Yatra, which passes through scenic religious and heritage sites in the foothills of the Trikuta mountains, will conclude with special prayers and rituals at the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi.
Authorities have made elaborate arrangements for medical aid, transportation, sanitation, and accommodation to ensure a safe and seamless experience for the participants.
The Vaishno Devi Parikarma Yatra continues to evolve as an integral part of Jammu and Kashmir’s cultural calendar, reinforcing its reputation as a destination of faith, peace, and divine energy.
