Udhampur, October 28,2025 — The holy festival of Chhath Puja was celebrated with immense devotion and enthusiasm across Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district, as hundreds of devotees gathered along riverbanks and ghats to offer prayers to the Sun God.
Dressed in traditional attire, devotees observed the rituals of Arghya, offering water and fruits during the evening and morning prayers, seeking blessings for prosperity, well-being, and harmony. The atmosphere resonated with devotional songs and chants as families and communities came together to mark the auspicious occasion.
