Deputy commissioner Pulwama launches Sampoornta Abhiyan in Achgoza

The Deputy Commissioner of Pulwama, Dr. Bashrath Qayoom, participated in the NITI Aayog’s Sampoornta Abhiyan, which was launched as part of the Aspirational Block Programme (ABP) in the remote Achgoza CD block of Pulwama district. The Sampoornta Abhiyan, an initiative aimed at holistic development, was inaugurated today with significant enthusiasm under the overall supervision of Dr. Qayoom. The ABP, under which this campaign falls, is an endeavor by the NITI Aayog to promote inclusive and sustainable development in aspirational districts across India. These districts have been identified based on various socio-economic indicators, and the program aims to accelerate their progress in key sectors such as health, education, agriculture, and infrastructure. Dr. Qayoom’s presence at the launch highlights the importance of this initiative for the local administration. His supervision ensures that the objectives of the Sampoornta Abhiyan align with the broader goals of the ABP. The initiative focuses on comprehensive development, addressing critical issues such as healthcare, education, nutrition, and basic infrastructure, to improve the overall quality of life for the residents of Achgoza. The launch event was marked by active participation from various stakeholders, including local leaders, community members, and government officials. This collaborative approach underscores the campaign’s commitment to grassroots involvement and community-driven progress. The Sampoornta Abhiyan in Achgoza is expected to bring about significant positive changes, fostering a more equitable and prosperous society. The focus on remote and underserved areas ensures that the benefits of development reach the most vulnerable and marginalized populations, thereby contributing to the overarching mission of inclusive growth and development championed by the NITI Aayog.
