Deputy Commissioner Kupwara reviews change of land use cases, stresses timely resolution

Kupwara, December 18: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan, chaired a meeting of the District Level Committee to review pending Change of Land Use cases. The meeting focused on ensuring the efficient processing of CLU applications through enhanced inter-departmental coordination.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the comments submitted by various departments regarding the issuance of No Objection Certificates for pending cases. The DC directed all concerned departments to provide comprehensive and quality comments or NOCs within the stipulated timeframe, in compliance with the Public Services Guarantee Act . She emphasised the importance of adhering to deadlines to facilitate the timely disposal of cases.

Highlighting the complexity of CLU cases, which require inputs from multiple departments, the DC underscored the need for improved inter-departmental coordination. She instructed officers to conduct joint site inspections for each case to expedite the process and ensure accuracy.
