Nowshera, March 4, 2025 – Jammu and Kashmir’s Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, chaired a Rogi Kalyan Samiti meeting at Sub-District Hospital Nowshera , focusing on enhancing patient care and upgrading healthcare infrastructure across the region. The meeting underscored the government’s commitment to improving medical services, with a particular emphasis on rural and remote areas.
During the session, Choudhary reviewed the hospital’s current facilities, patient care services, and ongoing infrastructure projects. He directed health department officials to prioritise efficiency and promptness in delivering medical care, ensuring that residents, especially in underserved rural pockets, have access to quality healthcare.
“The welfare of our people is at the heart of our efforts. We are dedicated to strengthening healthcare systems, particularly in areas like Nowshera, where access can be challenging,” Choudhary stated, addressing the gathered officials.
The Deputy CM, who also serves as the Chairman of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti, was briefed on various operational aspects of SDH Nowshera, including staffing, equipment, and patient services. He urged the authorities to address gaps in infrastructure and work with renewed dedication to meet the needs of the community.
