Reasi, March 21, 2025 – District Development Commissioner Reasi, Nidhi Malik IAS, chaired a meeting to assess the progress and planning for the Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the Rain 2024-25 campaign. The initiative, aimed at promoting rainwater harvesting, community awareness, and sustainability, underscores the district’s commitment to water conservation.
During the review, DDC Malik emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts to harness rainwater effectively, ensuring long-term water security for Reasi. The meeting focused on both physical and financial achievements under the campaign, with preparations underway for a Mega Jal Shakti Abhiyan event scheduled for World Water Day on March 22, 2025.
