DDC Reasi Chairs Block Diwas at Sungri Chassana, reviews developmental progress and addresses public grievances

REASI, DECEMBER 11: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Reasi, Nidhi Malik, chaired a Block Diwas event at the PWD Dak Bungalow in Sungri, Block Chassana, aimed at addressing public grievances and reviewing the progress of ongoing development projects in the Mahore and Chassana belt. The event saw active participation from local residents, officials, and elected representatives, including MLA Gulabgarh (ST) constituency, Khurshied Ahmed.

During the interactive session, DDC Nidhi Malik took the time to listen attentively to the concerns and demands raised by the public. She assured the attendees of timely and effective action on their issues, issuing on-the-spot directions to officers to expedite pending works and provide regular updates through action-taken reports.

A key focus of the meeting was the Budhal-Mahore-Gool road project, with the DDC stressing the need to fast-track its construction. She urged the executing agencies to prioritize this vital connectivity project to improve access and ease transportation in the region.

In addition to the grievance redressal session, the DDC visited the Chassana market to assess its condition and engaged with local shopkeepers and residents to better understand the challenges they face.
