BARAMULLA, NOVEMBER 20: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa Wednesday conducted a thorough inspection of the ongoing construction work of the Sangrama flyover, which is nearing completion.
During the inspection, DDC reviewed the progress of the project and emphasized the need to expedite the remaining work while maintaining high-quality standards. He directed the executing agency to resolve any pending issues immediately and ensure that all aspects of the construction are completed within the stipulated timeline.
Regular monitoring and coordination among all stakeholders were stressed to avoid any delays.
The Sangrama flyover is a significant infrastructure project aimed at addressing the persistent issue of traffic congestion in the area. Once completed, it is expected to provide a smoother flow of vehicles, significantly reducing traffic jams. Additionally, the flyover is set to boost economic activities across North Kashmir by improving connectivity and facilitating efficient transportation for businesses.
Highlighting the critical importance of the project, the DDC urged all concerned to focus on the timely completion of the remaining work to ensure the flyover becomes operational at the earliest, benefiting commuters and traders alike.
The DC was accompanied by ADC Sopore, Shabir Ahmad Raina and other officers during the visit.
