BANDIPORA, JANUARY 31: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather, today undertook a field visit to Surinder and adjoining villages in the district to assess the impact of the snowfall and oversee snow clearance operations.
Accompanied by senior officials from district administration, including ADC Bandipora Umar Shafi, the DC interacted with villagers, listened to their concerns, and assured them of prompt action to address any disruption caused by the snowfall.
While interacting with the people, the DC said that the top priority of administration is to ensure the well-being of our citizens and maintain essential services even amidst challenging weather conditions.
During the visit, the DC inspected the progress of snow removal on roads and pathways, ensuring swift movement of people and essential supplies. He also reviewed the availability of electricity, water, and healthcare services, directing concerned officials to address any shortages or disruptions immediately.
Rather urged villagers to cooperate with authorities and report any issues promptly.
Among others, Tehsildar Bandipora, Naib Tehsildar Bandipora besides representatives of line departments were also present on the occasion.
