Srinagar, September 16, 2025 – Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, along with Senior Superintendent of Police Srinagar, Sandeep Chakravarthy, chaired a District Level Screening-cum-Coordination Committee meeting to address cases filed under SRO-43 by the next of kin (NoKs) of terror-affected victims in Srinagar district. The meeting, held in the DC’s office chamber, focused on expediting the resolution of these cases to provide timely relief to affected families.
After thorough scrutiny, the DLSCC recommended fresh cases for compassionate appointments under the provisions of SRO-43 to the government for approval. This initiative reflects the Srinagar administration’s commitment to ensuring transparency and efficiency in supporting families impacted by terrorism.DC Akshay Labroo emphasised the importance of swift and transparent processing to deliver justice and rehabilitation to the NoKs. The presence of SSP Sandeep Chakravarthy underscored the collaborative effort between administrative and police authorities to address these sensitive cases.
