Srinagar, July 25,2025: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, chaired a comprehensive meeting with Revenue Officers to review the tehsil-wise progress on critical revenue services and infrastructure development projects pertaining to revenue offices across the district.
During the meeting, DC Labroo assessed the current status of service delivery mechanisms in each tehsil and emphasized the importance of efficient, transparent, and timely implementation of key public services. Officers presented detailed reports on the progress of mutation cases, issuance of land passbooks, digitization of land records, and other citizen-centric revenue services.
Reviewing the development of infrastructure in revenue offices, the DC stressed the need to improve the working environment, ensure adequate facilities, and expedite ongoing construction and renovation projects to enhance service delivery to the public.
Highlighting the administration’s commitment to good governance, DC Akshay Labroo directed all Revenue Officers to perform their duties with utmost diligence and ensure that people-centric services are delivered in a time-bound manner. He reiterated that delays and negligence in public service will not be tolerated.
The DC also called for increased coordination among tehsildars and field staff to address public grievances efficiently and urged officers to uphold transparency, accountability, and accessibility in the functioning of revenue offices.
The meeting concluded with clear directives aimed at improving efficiency, infrastructure, and overall public satisfaction in revenue service delivery in Srinagar.
