DC Ramban reviews essential services in snowbound villages of Ukhral & Ramsoo

Ramban, January 16: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, braving heavy snowfall, visited remote villages in the Tehsils of Ukhral and Ramsoo, including Shalgadi, Kote, Panchal Bhordhar, Neel Top, and Neel Batoo, to assess the status of essential services and address public concerns.

Accompanied by ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak and other senior district officials, the Deputy Commissioner personally inspected the delivery of essential supplies and services in these snowbound areas. Traversing the snow-covered terrain on foot, he interacted with local residents to assess their access to health services, rations, water, electricity, and road connectivity.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner issued immediate instructions to prioritize snow clearance and road restoration efforts, ensuring the continuous delivery of essential services. Special attention was given to health facilities, as well as the timely supply of rations, electricity, and water.

Assuring the public of the administration’s commitment to their welfare during adverse weather conditions, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the district administration would continue to monitor and respond to emerging needs proactively.
