Rajouri, 3 September 2025 – Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma and Senior Superintendent of Police Gaurav Sikarwar on Tuesday inspected stretches of the National Highway (NH) in Rajouri district, where multiple landslides have disrupted vehicular movement following continuous heavy rainfall in Jammu and Kashmir.
The officers directed concerned departments to ensure the immediate clearance of landslides to restore smooth traffic movement and uninterrupted supply of essentials. Heavy machinery and workforce have been mobilised at vulnerable stretches to speed up the restoration process.
