DC Poonch chairs DGRC meeting to review grievances, implementation of AB- PMJAY

POONCH, OCTOBER 14: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Yasin M. Choudhary chaired a meeting of the District Grievances Redressal Committee (DGRC) to review the status of grievances and implementation of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY).
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Naheem Un Nissa Bhatti, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Anees Altaf Nabi, Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Poonch, Dr. Zulafkar Ahmed, Distt. Program Coordinator AB-PMJAY (MO Mandi), Dr. Riaz Jan, Distt. Inf. System Manager Poonch, Parvez Ahmed, and other concerned officials.
The committee members were apprised of their roles and responsibilities in ensuring the swift resolution of grievances related to the AB-PMJAY during the meeting.
Deputy Commissioner emphasized the significance of efficiency and urged the members to actively monitor the grievances database, ensuring that all issues are addressed within the prescribed timeline.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all Empanelled Health Care Providers (EHCP) to increase the In-Patient Department (IPD) under AB-PMJAY capacity. Furthermore, he instructed the Block Medical Officers of Mandi, Mendhar, and Surankote, along with the Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Poonch, to minimize the rejection of cases by providing comprehensive training to the concerned staff.
The Deputy Commissioner also directed the Common Service Centers’ Coordinator to extend support and coordination with the medical staff to ensure the saturation of 100% of the district’s population under AB-PMJAY.
While taking review of grievances, it was informed in the meeting that all 113 grievances had been successfully resolved. Of these, 30 were related to inquiries, 16 were technical in nature, 10 were based on complaints, and 57 fell into other categories.
