Kulgam, Februrary 2,2026-Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, on Sunday launched Sampoornata Abhiyaan 2.0 in the Aspirational Block Manzgam, with a focus on strengthening scheme saturation and ensuring last-mile delivery of essential services to all eligible beneficiaries.
The launch event was attended by officers from various line departments, field functionaries and other key stakeholders.
Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner said that Sampoornata Abhiyaan 2.0 aims to achieve 100 per cent coverage of priority indicators and flagship welfare schemes through coordinated inter-departmental efforts, real-time monitoring and intensified grassroots outreach.
He stressed the importance of inter-departmental convergence to identify gaps in implementation and ensure that no eligible beneficiary is left out of government welfare programmes. The DC directed officers to intensify field visits, conduct awareness campaigns and organise special outreach camps to facilitate on-the-spot registrations and ensure prompt grievance redressal.
Emphasis was also laid on data-driven planning, regular performance reviews and accountability at all levels to accelerate implementation and improve service delivery outcomes.
On the occasion, Joint Director Planning, Malik Suhail, shared department-wise targets and implementation strategies. A detailed roadmap for accelerated execution under Sampoornata Abhiyaan 2.0 was also outlined to achieve time-bound and measurable results in the aspirational block.
The administration reiterated its commitment to inclusive development and effective delivery of government schemes at the grassroots level.
